"I AM THANKFUL" 30 Day Thanksgiving Challenge!

I don't know about you guys, but October - December are BY FAR my favorite months of the year!

I can't just choose one of these months, especially now that I'm a Mother, because each of these months has so many events to share traditions (old and new) with my Daughter! It's like I'm reliving my childhood again and who better to share it with than her?! She's exactly 18 months today and is already very receptive to changes happening around our household as I prepare for our Thanksgiving celebration with my Parents! :-)

To make this month a little more special for me, I've decided to do...

...the "I AM THANKFUL 30 Day Thanksgiving Challenge"!! Last year, my friend Meghan came up with with this challenge by posting a picture a day of something she was thankful for on her Facebook page. But this year it will be on her blog Shine On...tales of a twenty-something!! It think this is such an incredible idea. I can only speak for myself, but being a SAHM, running a sewing business out of our home, keeping up with our household and running the apartment complex with live at, definitely makes me SO busy that I'm quick complain about how tired I am, or how we barely have any money to pay bills, never have money to buy things we want or go out and do the fun things everyone else is doing, etc but I never take the time to slow down and be thankful for what we DO have! This month is going to be A-MAZING!

So here goes.....

Day #1

I am thankful...for the roof I have over my head!

Although it's not a $200,000+ house and isn't the "nicest" apartment out there, I'm absolutely thankful that we have a warm place to live!

Now it's YOUR TURN! I DARE YOU! ;-) Hop on the "30 Days of Thanks Challenge" with me and share what you're thankful for! Post a link to your blog, page, social networking site under this post. I'd love to see what you all are thankful for!! :-)

  3. aaaand, I just realized that I'm going to be without internet access in Costa Rica from Nov 19-Dec 4. I'll have to journal and play catch up posting when I come home :)
