{Thursday Thoughts 4.5.12}

Linking up with Sar at [life of love] for one of my favorite weekly posts....

{one}
Derek's first week back to school was a lot more painless than I anticipated, maybe because it was the first week and most classes don't last the entire time, but it was still tough having him gone longer than normal! :-)  Thank God it was easier to handle than I thought. We'll definitely be able to get through this quarter okay!! :-) SO HAPPY!

{two}
Do It Yourself Magazine and a cup of coffee (using my favorite mug I made for my birthday last year)...perfect way to spend my morning.

Ignore the fact that I almost drank all of my coffee before I snapped this picture, this gal needed her morning pick me up ASAP! haha!

Have you all had a chance to check out the giveaway I'm hosting that Threes and Fives is sponsoring? You didn't see it? Well shucks, it's not too late so make sure you head on over and check it out...the hand stamped metal necklace that's up for grabs is extremely adorable! Here's the necklace I just got in the mail a couple of days ago. Some of you have heard this A LOT but I can't stop gushing over this necklace, I love it! :-)

I really want to give a shout out and thank a few women... Meg at MackyMadness, Susan at Suzel Says, Sar at [life of love], Sarah at From the Desk...you ladies have really made this week bearable for me, and I can't thank you enough! Sar - for helping me and totally inspiring me (whether you knew it or not haha) to try making my own designs and for helping me with all me questions, it meant a lot. Sorry I had so many questions for you! lol. Meg - for your amazing post getting everyone to open up and connect through their fears/insecurities, I honestly had no idea that the things I talked about where bugging me as badly as they were and it was amazing to get it all out in a safe place free of judgement. Susan - for your post about making sure we live in the present moment that God gives us and to not let it pass you by, I made me realize I needed to spend more time with my daughter and restructure my daily routine. And to Sarah - thank you for humoring me by letting me get excited about the Eagle Cam with you! :-)

I'm on a bit of an Emma Stone kick right now after finally getting to watch Crazy Stupid Love and yesterday she was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. For those of you that watch, you've probably heard of Ellen's "Dance Dare" Challenge...well, if you didn't see the show yesterday, she challenged Emma and here's a video of it...HILARIOUS...

I was also SUPER surprised to find out that she's only 23 years old! DEFINITELY thought she was older! :-)

What are you up to today? How has your week been so far!?

HAPPY THURSDAY EVERYONE! :-)

  1. You are too sweet, lady! :)
    I've loved sending little tweets back and forth; especially since I don't really know anyone down here in Texas yet or hang out with anyone but the husband. It's great having blogger friends to chat with :)

    I saw the Emma Stone clip online yesterday! haha the dance challenges are hilarious.
