Can it be?!?

Can it really be, that I only have 3lbs left to lose to make it to my 2nd milestone - LOSING 20LBS?!?!?

I stepped on the scale this morning and was in COMPLETE shock....

i've lost 17lbs in 9 weeks.

As far as I can remember, this is the most weight I've ever lost "dieting".

I feel SO great, refreshed, energized, that I can take on this whole world of weight loss by storm.

Me, Caty, has lost 17lbs. I cried laughed squealed at the number staring back at me this morning. HAHA! For the first time in my life I've taken charge of weight loss in a way that doesn't discourage me at times, I never even feel like I'm "dieting" because I've completely changed my lifestyle and what I do now just seems like it's suppose to be "normal".

What's even crazier...is when I think about my weight loss like this...

i only have 35lbs left to lose!

I started at a goal to lose 52lbs and I'm almost HALF WAY THERE! I think I'm even more excited that when I lose the next 3lbs, I get to invest in a great pair of running shoes and start training for Bloomsday!!!! I've NEVER, EVER ran "for fun". I never even ran in high school during PE when I was 140lbs and had to pass the class by running a mile in a certain amount of time...I ALWAYS walked it ;-)

I found this GREAT website through my friend Janeen (THANKS AGAIN GIRL!), called From Couch to 5K. The program looks SO "friendly" to non-runners, almost like anyone can do it if they try, and that makes me BEYOND excited to run...me...excited to RUN....what the hell is going on with the universe when I'm sitting here saying I can't wait to run?!?! LOL! I've NEVER been that girl and can I just tell you....I CANNOT WAIT to BE that girl!! :-) The program is set up to have anyone running a 5K in 10 weeks. This site also gave me tools into finding out which running shoes will be best for me because I know NOTHING about what it takes to find good running shoes.

Well...enough of my blabbing! I hope you all are doing amazing and I sincerely thank you for reading my blog and seeing how I'm doing!! Your support means SO much to me! :-)

LOVE TONS! :-)
